Is there a god?
To those who choose to believe; yes, the heavens are full of them!

According to David B. Barrett, the researcher who compiles religious population estimates for the Encyclopedia Britannica and World Almanac, there are about 10,000 distinct religions in the world today.

Ten-thousand religions- who's right, who's wrong?
The world will never agree on one god. Each person of faith believes their god is the only true god. They have to believe they're right- being wrong is not an option. Who wants to be looked down upon by their peers as a non-believer, a lost soul, a trouble-maker, an infidel? Who really wants to say to their parents, their friends, and their community, "I don't believe what you believe."
Even among those who say they do believe, are those who'll pick and choose which points of their chosen doctrine they will follow, and which they won't. Manipulating scripture to make it fit your desired result is not believing, it's marketing propaganda for your own purpose. It is extremely difficult to take any of these zealots seriously.
Of course some of them force us to take them seriously with their violent actions.
But hey, what do you expect them to do? They are people of faith- that's what fanatics do. If you don't believe in their God- you are wrong and you must change your ways or die. That's what religions do- push their agenda.

Most organized religions are mere fronts for something insidious, maniacal, and controlling. Control of the 'flock' is essential. If you actually use your mind, make sure no one else knows about it!
Yes even those sweet, smiling faces of our own country's 'gentler faiths' are manipulating, and conniving. They want only to push their agenda; to control your mind, fill their halls with great numbers of faithful, gain more political weight and influence, and in-turn become even more rich and powerful corporate entities.
All the sheep go, "Baaaaaaaa!"

Is there a god? Of course not. It annoys me to waste time writing of it.
Although the majority of the world would say there is a god, you won't get any of them to agree on which god is THE god. Instead of this multiplicity of myth, ancient traditions, and folklore being seen as a sign that all religions are questionable at best, and ultimately worthless- the true-believers choose to hate and kill all those that disagree with them. "Amen."

I really don’t care what you believe. Waste your time as you wish.
Just don’t try to force it on me or blow me up, and I will offer you the same courtesy.
