AMERICANA

All my life, being an American has not only meant being free, but also intelligent, ingenious, innovative, and industrious. Just as a healthy individual shouldn't let others push them around; America should defend and stand up for itself. However, being American has nothing to do with being super-powerful, vengeful, un-wavering, or closed-minded.
I support our troops who are told they are fighting for our freedom and the American democratic way of life. I don't show my support by making another American rich off the insanity and buying ribbon stickers to put on my car.
I showed my support by voting in the last presidential election. I tried my best to rid the country of the one who sent our troops in harm's way in the first place-for no good reason. Obviously the big moral issue- money, kept others from doing the same. They apparently see nothing wrong with sending children off to be slaughtered while they remain safe and sleepy back home in the throes of the American Dream.
